Zahir (arab. ظاهِر [ẓāhir]) is an active participle with meanings denoting apparent, visible, obvious, manifest, esoteric, radiant. The name stands for "beings or things which have the terrible power to be unforgettable, and whose image eventually drives people either saint or mad."

On January 20^th 2007, at 3:47 am, Zahir appeared at our home. He left Sergej Pekker's kennel in Minsk (Belarus) - Tsaski Ted - the day before and several hours later we picked him up also in Minsk, but Mazowiecki (Poland) ;). Since that moment that incredible, marvelous and gorgeous fluffy furry ball of the brightest desert sand colour has absolutely taken over our minds and hearts. However, before he arrived, we had been waiting for a looooooong time and not rarely had we doubt that we might ever become a family for a cream chow.
In a nutshell... Chows have been our obsession since the first sight. Searching deeper into breed's characteristics had only confirmed our choice - once there was a discussion whether a cat or a dog should reign our little kingdom - and it appears that Mother Nature had already taken care of our dillema by creating "catdog" - chow chow - the perfect compromise :). Needless to say when we saw cream chows we knew that no other is suitable for us - people who adore only the unusual and extraordinary. At one point we decided that the time had come for us to have our own chow and thus the search begun. Nonetheless it appeared that it was not that easy to find a proper cream puppy. Finally, after some unfortunate endeavors, in February 2006 we came across a Polish chow chow club forum where we met lots of great people. Among them was the most important person, a breeder and an owner of magnificent dogs (including Zahir's cousin - Ormina), Arlena Macig of Z Reptowskiego Lasu kennel. Thanks to her we met Sergej, a breeder from Belarus, whose two chow bitches were soon to have litters. After many emotional swirls and twists, we had finally come to an end of our longing - in December 2006 puppies were born, and exactly on December 3^rd 2006 black bitch Tselika, impregnated on September 29^th by cream chow Zlat Agni (Jr Ch Belarus, Ch Belarus, Russia, Winner of Russian Chow Chow Club - Moscow, 18 CAC), gave birth to 7 beautiful puppies. The fourth one to come was Tsaski Ted ABSOLUTE ZAHIR - our beloved cream teddy bear.
